With any luck, we'll get October 1975 next week. I see that with the four shows that month, only two were eligible since 10-4-75 was a special countdown of the Top Songs of the 50's and 10-11-75 was guest-hosted by Wink Martindale.

12/29/2012: Top 100 of 1978 (Part 1; three-hour version; B show) and 1/5/2012: Top 100 of 1978 (Part 2; three-hour version; B show) are repeats from 12/22/2007 & 12/29/2007, so please make a note of it, thus bumping this thread up in the process.

Curious as to why July16, 77 is listed in pink. I thought for sure Casey introduced Shaun Cassidy had the #1 song. If not, who was the host that week?

We can now delete June 1979 from the list. That leaves us with only two unplayed months. I think we will get July 1977 next month; if an October 1975 show is played later (there are likely only two to choose from) then we can delete the list entirely.

An October 1975 show is schedule this year which will means every month for the 70's has been played. Well then, if so all we need is July 1987 to make the original Casey AT40 era complete. And that has to wait for next year.

Problem with July 1987 is that there are only 2 eligible shows---Jul 4 (regular) and Jul 25. Jul 11 and 18 were hosted by Charlie Van Dyke. The July 4 special "Top 40 hits of the 80s so far" HAS been played by Premiere.
