Don't you think that posting this top 10 list is an utter waste of time? First of all, a new song hasn't entered the list in 7 weeks. More importantly, these shows were more about the spotlights and extras that Casey played each week than the current top 10 songs.

Maybe but I don't have much of an imagination to build a three-hour show beyond the Top 10 . I know on PULSE Music Boards (jayman) is posting mock AC and Hot AC countdowns (as well as a Top 40 countdown). You should check those out. OK so there's still no movement on the charts. Maybe Mediabase should fix it. Maybe 20 weeks for below the Top 5 to be recurrent. All I know is "Someone Like You" is in its' 38th week on Mediabase's AC chart so it will leave the countdown after two more weeks (unless "Good Life" or "Just A Kiss" beat "Someone Like You" first; "Good Life" is already past 40 weeks and "Just A Kiss" will mark its' 40th week next week).

Everything seems normal to me. It wasn't moving when AT10 was on the air either. No need to change the recurrent rule either. It obviously doesn't matter anymore. If they went with your suggestion then in a few years do you drop it to below the top 3? Then anythunh below 1? Then anything on the chart longer than 20 weeks no matter where it is? It never ends. |
