It seems a bit that there are several big stars of the 80's that have been gone forever now, in addition to late Michael Jackson I can recall at least Laura Branigan, Robert Palmer, Jermaine Stewart, Luther Vandross and Michael Hutchence of INXS to mention a few.

I thought of another singer who was popular in the 80's:Dan Hartman-He had a big hit called "I Can Dream About You" in 1984.

Freakyflybry,you forgot to list Rick Nelson who died in 1985,Del Shannon,who died in 1990,Warren Zevon who died in 2003 & finally Johnny Cash who died the same year.
