Wow, regarding the 1/20/01 chart. No debuts, quite a few songs held positions, and the biggest mover moved only 4 spots? Not the most interesting chart ever, but a rather unique find.

Wow, regarding the 1/20/01 chart. No debuts, quite a few songs held positions, and the biggest mover moved only 4 spots? Not the most interesting chart ever, but a rather unique find. For that time, at least. During the Ryan Seacrest AT40 era, such stasis has become rather commonplace, though there's usually at least one debut and/or one big mover. At least then they had a recurrent rule that kept things moving, even if it meant sometimes songs dropped off from suspiciously high positions, whereas now hits often hang around for months and months.

If What's Your Fantasy had such a horrible chart run, how the heck did it chart on the top 100 with only 4 weeks on the chart?

If What's Your Fantasy had such a horrible chart run, how the heck did it chart on the top 100 with only 4 weeks on the chart? It's one of those songs that peaked low, but the airplay it did get was spread out over a long time (notice that it spent 15 weeks in the Top 50 of the R&R chart, and probably hung around just outside the chart for awhile).

I might need 2/17/01. My Excel sheet seems to have a lot of songs wrong or missing.

So "I Hope You Dance" fell during the week that caseyfan posted? I wonder what was its chart run was. Did it fall off and re-enter?

It jumped to 33. There were 3 debuts the next week (3 Doors Down, Lifehouse, and SoulDecision), while I'm Like a Bird re-entered. It only did that because it debuted 2 weeks earlier on AT40.

I think I need 3/24/01. I doubt 8 songs fell off and re-entered.

I've come across some partial shows that I recorded on C-120s... do any of you kind folks have the charts for them? I believe these are the AT40 shows I have: 2/15/02 2/22/02 3/22/02
Also I'm looking for a couple of complete charts from the American Top 20 show, along with the dates. About all I can puzzle out is that they're both from late 2001.
Here's what I know about the first show:
20 -- Pacific Coast Party - SmashMouth 19 -- Everyday - Dave Matthews Band 18 20 Train - Something More EX George Harrison - When We Was Fab 17 18 John Mellencamp & India.Arie - Peaceful World 16 19 Creed - My Sacrifice EX Madonna - Like A Virgin 15 16 Lenny Kravitz - Drop In LDD Juice Newton - Angel Of The Morning EX Pretenders - Don't Get Me Wrong
Dropping out that week were "Drive" by Incubus and "The Space Between" by the Dave Matthews Band. In the recap of last week's top three, Casey pointed out that Five For Fighting's "Superman (It's Not Easy") had its second week at No. 1.
I originally thought the other side of the tape was from the same show, but it obviously is not:
EX Soul Asylum - Runaway Train 14 12 Matchbox 20 - Mad Season 13 11 Matchbox 20 - If You're Gone (45th week on chart) EX Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire 12 10 Dido - Thank You EX Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) 11 14 Michelle Branch - Everywhere LDD 'NSync - This I Promise You 10 13 Staind - It's Been Awhile 9 9 Five For Fighting - Superman (It's Not Easy) 8 ? Eve 6 - Here's To The Night
My appreciations to anyone who can help supply the charts to the three AT40 shows and who can pinpoint the dates and other songs on the two AT20 programs.
Thanks in advance.
