The best thing to do is to write and show them how much we support the show. If enough people do this, there's a better chance that AT40 will survive. If they do decide to take AT40 off, we should all cancel our XM subscriptions immediately. XM's decision to rebroadcast AT40 has enjoyed a great deal of support among fans. Most of all, AT40 (and Rick Dees too) has provided a chance for XM listeners to hear songs that are not commonly played there anymore.

I hope that Mel Karmazin will keep "AT40" on XM-There are many "AT40" aficionados out there who are grateful to XM for airing the classic countdowns each week-We definitely need to keep our fingers crossed.

Is Mel Karmazin the one who will decide AT40's fate? If not, who should we email to voice our support for AT40 on XM?

Send them to seventies@xmradio.com or eighties@xmradio.com and they will forward the messages on to higher management.

It's obviously not 100% official, but I've heard from some people who have already written in to express support for AT40 on XM that they've recieved responses indicating that the reairings will continue.

I have received positive indications that AT40 will continue as well. Hopefully they are telling the truth and only time will tell if they are.

I emailed the 70s and 80s channel regarding AT40, and John Clay sent a reply thanking me for my input. He says he has been told AT40 will continue. I hope he's right.
