UMD does that often enough that I always double-check the dates with Whitburn, or pull up a particular month's calendar, before posting dates on here when I've used UMD as a chart reference. Far as I can tell, though, 1980 is the only year they screw up like that... Just did a search of all years 1960 through 90--UMD is also off by a day between June 13, 1970 (their chart says June 12) and December 26 of that same year (their chart says December 25). Thought there were other instances as well but didn't spot them in my fairly quick search. Used Whitburn as my 'control'.

Wild considering a) 1970 wasn't a leap year and b) it started in the middle of June.

Third place? February 15, 1971 She's A Lady - Tom Jones (43-24) Me & Bobby McGee - Janis Joplin (42-25) 4th place, perhaps? November 10, 1979 "Ladies Night" by Kool & The Gang moved 56 - 25 (peaked at #8, and it didn't debut on AT40 until its 6th week on the Hot 100) "Send One Your Love" by Stevie Wonder moved 51 - 26 (peaked at #4) Maybe 5th place? May 10, 1980 "Against The Wind" by Bob Seger moved 54 - 26 "Coming Up" by Paul McCartney moved 53 - 27
