Awful. So young. I knew she was sick but you’re never prepared for this. Roxette had some great tunes, love “Joyride”, “Fading Like A Flower”, “Spending My Time”, “It Must Have Been Love”, “The Look”, “Listen To Your Heart”, “Dressed For Success”...all hits. So sad. She had a great voice. She will be missed. RIP.

Looks like Marie's musical Joyride has finally come to an end. Sad, and died young.
R.I.P., Marie.
The only songs by Roxette I enjoy are "Joyride" and "The Look".

I've loved their music since they hit radio airwaves here in the States. And in 2016, I downloaded their album "Good Karma". Lots of radio-worthy gems on there. Reminds me a lot of their early stuff.
RIP, Marie...and to you and Per, to quote ABBA, "Thank you for the music."

Roxette is one of my favorites. I went through and played my favorite songs of theirs today.
I compiled selections from AT40 with Shadoe where Marie was featured:

Although I lost interest in Roxette over the years, I used to love all six of their #1 and #2 hits, and they were probably one of the earliest (if not the first) music acts that I really liked.

Roxette, along with ABBA and Ace of Base, are perhaps the biggest Swedish acts to ever chart on Billboard.

Roxette, along with ABBA and Ace of Base, are perhaps the biggest Swedish acts to ever chart on Billboard. I'd say Roxette wins the battle of Sweden: ABBA: 14 Top 40 hits, One #1 (Dancing Queen) Roxette: 9 Top 40 hits, Four #1s (The Look, Listen To Your Heart, It Must Have Been Love, Joyride), Two #2's (Dangerous, Fading Like A Flower) Ace Of Base: 7 Top 40 Hits, Three #1s (All That She Wants, The Sign, Don't Turn Around - only on AT40s Mainstream Chart) I think Shadoe told some story about how Roxette and ABBA had their first number ones on the same date in April? "The Look" had two hit remixes also:

Shadoe told the story of the amazing coincidence in the 4/8/1989 show.
