Peter Frampton has announced his farewell tour. Unfortunately, a rare and currently incurable disease will force him off the road. Saw him twice, in 2005 and 2012. He's an amazing and thoroughly engaging performer, and he really seems to be one of the good guys. Plus we share a birthday (Earth Day). Best wishes go to Peter for a successful send off, and advancements that could cure body myositis. CBS Interview

I remember when "Frampton Comes Alive" was released in 1976-Up until then,Frampton was virtually unknown-Once "Show Me The Way" reached the charts, there was no turning back-His follow up album "I'm In You" was dismissed by critics as being rather lightweight-His final top forty hit was in 1979-It was called "I Can't Stand It No More"-Last summer,he went out on tour with Steve Miller-I'm sorry to hear that he's ill-i wish Peter well in his retirement.
