One of the top air personalities during the glory days of top forty radio in New York City was Ed Baer-He was one of the original "Good Guys" on WMCA-Ed passed away on Tuesday at the age of 82-He had been battling pneumonia for quite some time-After his time at WMCA ended,Ed went on to work for a variety of other stations in & around NYC-Those stations were WHN,WYNY,WHUD in Peekskill,NY & oldies formatted WCBS-FM-Ed spent the remainder of his career recording radio shows at his home studio in Westport,CT-His famous sign off was "Give my best to the family & we'll have to have lunch sometime".

I forgot to mention that Ed Baer also did afternoon drive on WICC in Bridgeport,CT-This was in the early to mid 80's.
