(Feb. 1979) * 40th. anniversary of the AT40 Disco episode, but...it's also the 40th. anniversary of when WGCL G-98 Cleveland did on the day of the AT40 Disco Special a fake substitute AT40 show with Townsend Coleman guest hosting. (January 2004) * 15th. anniversary of AT20 AC rebooting as American Top 10 (AT10) but with Casey no long doing AT40 CHR, he was demoted to AT10 AC and AT20 Hot AC. * 10th. anniversary of Casey's retirement and cancellation of AT20 Hot AC and AT10 AC. * 10th. anniversary of Larry Morgan becomming the AT40: The 70's/AT40: The 80's announcer for opening, start of hour bumpers, closing, and OPTIONAL EXTRA segments. * 5th. anniversary of Casey Kasem's death (June 2014)

Also:
The 45th anniversary of the episode where almost all the songs were at the wrong positions in the countdown, due to the AT40 staff recording the show in advance and estimating the positions of each song. I believe this was from June or July 1974.
The 20th anniversary of the publication of Rob Durkee's "American Top 40: The Countdown of the Century".

I believe this was from June or July 1974. The 20th anniversary of the publication of Rob Durkee's "American Top 40: The Countdown of the Century". For the first one: That was June 29, 1974 - last played on AT40: The 70's in 2017. And for the second one: Is Rob Durkee due for an AT40COTC updated book to tie in to AT40's 50th. anniversary in 2020?
