On March 29th,2019,the following performers will take their rightful place in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame:Janet Jackson,Stevie Nicks,Radiohead,The Cure,Def Leppard,Roxy Music,& The Zombies-This will mark the second time that Nicks has been inducted-In 1998,she got the nod as a member of Fleetwood Mac,Jackson joins her brothers The Jackson Five who were inducted in 1997-Her late brother Michael was inducted as a solo artist in 2001-The Cure led by Robert Smith had a couple of top forty hits,most notably "Just Like Heaven" & "Friday I'm In Love". Radiohead,the other British group being inducted,had a sizeable hit in 1993 with the song "Creep"-They were namechecked by Katy Perry in her 2011 smash "The One That Got Away"-Def Leppard had two successful albums that were released back in the 80's:"Pyromania" (1983) & "Hysteria" (1987)-Songs from both those albums continue to recieve recurrent airplay on classic rock stations. Roxy Music,which was led by Bryan Ferry,scored one top forty hit in early 1976,which was called "Love Is The Drug"-Finally,The Zombies rode the first wave of The British Invasion in 1964-Their three top forty hits were "She's Not There" (1964),"Tell Her No" (1965) & "Time Of The Season" (1969)-Founding member Rod Argent also made the charts with his own band Argent-They had a top five smash in the late summer of 1972 called "Hold Your Head Up"-The induction ceremonies,as previously mentioned,will take place on 3/29/2019-The venue will be The Barclays Center in Brooklyn,NY.

My bad!-The Cure had one other top forty hit,"Love Song",which peaked at # 2 in the late summer-early fall of 1989.
