Aside from ebay, are there any other sources where Billboard's back issues are available for purchase? Thanks in advance.

Hey Pete, You are probably aware of the following website where you can read back issues of Billboard--
You may want to contact them to see if they are interested in selling them or if they know of a source that would.
I also wonder what local libraries did with their old issues?! I live in the Atlanta area and pre-internet days I used to go to the local library and browse through issues of Billboard. This was of course, after I let my own subscription expire in 1990. Naturally, I tossed the old magazines (as they took up a lot of space).

How old are you looking for Peteski? You should be able to get them directly from BB for at least the past 5 years and maybe older than that. Be prepared to pay a few bucks above the original newsstand price though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've used library-bound issues for research. But not every library has made Billboard one of their readers' periodicals, especially going back 30 years or more. I've seen some library bound editions for sale at times, where the institutions were looking to increase space for other material. But many people know the value of library-bound magazines, Billboard and others. And when a library offers them for sale, you need to be in the right place at the right time. They don't sit around for sale very long.

Billboard was so expensive that the only libraries I have ever seen them at are either a major University or the main branch of a large metro. I never saw them at satellite locations. And unfortunately all the places I used to make a pest of myself at like Blockbuster and Sound Warehouse begging them to take a peak at their copy are long gone. at40fg.proboards.com/thread/3380/far-get-hands-on-charts

^Love those stories. When I first subscribed to Billboard, I believe the subscription price was $35/year. And I was a high school student working part-time, at $1.60/hour. I still signed up -- it was worth having it home-delivered every week.

I sent a brief message to Scott - and I wanted to put this out there for everyone.
I'm looking to finally sell my Billboard year end issues - I think I have around 22 of them - mostly 70s, 80s and 90s (including the July 1976 Special Edition)
Please private message me if interested.

Bumping this topic to see if there's any interest.
I still have my original Billboard year end issues - would love to sell them to a person who would appreciate them.
