On February 9, Craig MacGregor succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 68. Known as "Thunderfingers", Craig joined Foghat in 1975 and made his recording debut on their 1976 album "Drivin' Wheel". He would remain with the band until 1982, but rejoined Foghat for brief stints twice during the 80s. He joined Foghat a final time in 2005 and remained with them until his passing. Sadly his diagnosis was not revealed to him when first discovered by doctors in 2012. By the time he learned of his condition in 2015, it had become stage four. He would become an advocate, promoting the Patient Test Results Information Act which would require doctors to reveal all test results in a timely manner. Although his illness took prevented Craig from becoming an ongoing traveling member of Foghat, he remained an official member and participated in their 2016 release "Under The Influence". We remember Craig with his bass work on the title track from Foghat's 1976 album. As a single, it would peak at #34. Drivin' Wheel - FoghatObituary
