What was missing... *And 3 questions that should've been asked of Jean: 1. While keeping the kids at bay over an apparent money issue, why wasn't Casey's brother given access to Casey during his time in her care? 2. Was an autopsy authorized, and what were the results? 3. Why is there still no headstone on Casey's grave?
1. Jean likely very quickly figured that Mouner was allied with the children, and decided against dealing with him separately. (Edit: He is a co-plaintiff with the children in the suit against her and Liberty.) 2. One of the two doctors from Washington state sought for deposition (see the NewsLA article I posted earlier), Dr. Eric Kiesel, performed an autopsy, and its results may be under seal pending the local investigation by Gig Harbor police. 3. Only Jean knows the answer to this.
I watched the 48 Hours episode today on the DVR. What's "mysterious" about Casey's death isn't how it happened, but who will win this case. I'd like to think it'll be Kerri and the other plaintiffs. But Jean certainly knows how to sell her side of things, however distorted it may be. She is an actress after all.
