For those of us in the path of Irma over the next 24 hours, good luck and be safe. See you on the flip side.

Glad to know you're safe Brett, have you heard from Paul at all? Hope he and his family are safe, and all Floridians are staying safe. Watching it on CNN is scary enough. Hope it's over for you guys soon. Stay safe and good luck.

I got an email from Paul this afternoon, he is safe as well. We are both approaching 24 hours without power, and if you know anything about Florida humidity, it ain't pretty. But no damage on my end at least, so when all is said and done, I'll take it.

Be safe in the aftermath, and hopefully power will be restored soon. Take care.

That's a real bummer though. Hope the power is restored for you guys real soon. Stay safe and good luck.

I've gotten power back. I'm saying that holding my breath hoping it doesn't go out at some point because if it does I know it may be awhile before it comes back. Hope everyone else in Florida and now Georgia and Alabama are ok as well.

I hope for your sake that you don't lose power. The national news was saying that areas outside of Miami could take well over a week to get power back. They were saying it was a 'stifling 88 degrees' in a person's house. With the humidity down there, that has to be worse than even the 90+ degrees it gets in my house in the summer. About 95 is when I break down and turn on the AC for a few minutes.

I saw on the news it's possible there are areas in South Florida where the entire power grid may need to be rebuilt.
