For Glen Campbell, a true music industry legend, may he rest in peace, KSWD 100.3 The Sound played Rhinestone Cowboy after Cynthia Fox made the announcement of his passing on my way home, she said "Adios" and "Vaya Con Dios"... Rhinestone Cowboy (1975) Southern Nights My Mom use ta listen to the Galveston (album) where this title track came from back around 1969!

We shared a birthday with Mother Earth (April 22). What a talented musician. From being an in-demand guitarist with the Wrecking Crew, to a touring Beach Boy, to the interpreter for the Jimmy Webb songbook, Glen could do it all. Then there were his little known but interesting contributions. The opening notes to Kenny Rogers & the First Edition's "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" were supplied by Glen, and compressed to create that zither effect. Probably my favorite was his guitar work and lead vocals on this Beach Boys-esque studio concoction from 1967. My World Fell Down - SagittariusRIP Glen
