I was hoping to listen to some of this tomorrow, but no matter what browser I use to access the station I get a message saying "Stream is not available."

Have you tried tunein.com? It'll sometimes work if I can't get onto the station website.

After checking out the list of extras played as part of the AMC 1983 show (which I enjoyed immensely, BTW), I noticed Slammin' Sam left out several notable ones:
Swingin'/John Anderson (#43)---A classic country-rock staple from the '80's that got some crossover airplay and even achieved Gold-record status. Front Page Story/Neil Diamond(#65)---His follow up to his last Top 40 hit "I'm Alive" got a lot of AC airplay.
Words/F. R. David (#62)---This breezy, mid tempo pop song also got significant AC airplay.
A Little Good News/Anne Murray (#74)---A #1 country song which also got much crossover airplay. It's quite subdued and mellow compared to most of the extras he played, but no more so than Linda Ronstadt's "What's New", which he did play.
(I don't mean to quibble too much. Slammin' Sam does a magnificent job on all these AMC shows!)

"Swingin'" by John Anderson was played quite regularly on WLS - peaked at #12 on their survey. Q102 (WTHQ) in South Bend, IN played "Words" every now and then in the late summer of 1983. That one was a great song - I even have it on one of my playlists on YouTube.

Just a heads up, Sam is doing a live Flashback Top 50 countdown tomorrow at 8 AM Central. It's the top 50 from this week in 1977. Sam is live every weekday from 8-10.
The Fox has been losing listeners in the last month or so. Just trying to get the word out.
