Thanks, retroguy! I absolutely enjoyed AMC 1980 and very much looking forward to the 1979 edition.

Sounds like a cool show, but this should probably go in the General Music Discussion board, not Classic AT40.

Sounds like a cool show, but this should probably go in the General Music Discussion board, not Classic AT40. Maybe so, but I posted it here since it is so closely related to AT40 (by playing every song that hit the top 40 according to Billboard) and thought it would have natural interest and appeal to this audience. I have nothing to gain as I have no affiliation with it. I'm just a big fan. It's not my board, so I don't really care too much, just would hate to see someone banned unnecessarily by promoting a station that breaks what the owner of this board has for TOS (Billboard rights/AT40 rights). I would promote another station I like a lot but respect the owners wishes.

Been listening all day. Memories.
Did anyone think they played the wrong version of "I Don't Know If It's Right" by Evelyn "Champagne" King? I had only heard a different version before.

Interesting to note that Bob Seger's "Feel Like A Number" was an extra on both 1979 and 1981 - it was the B-side to "Still The Same" (which peaked in July 1978) but entered the Hot 100 on 12/19/1981.
