Of all shows that will be one of the least likely ever aired.
It's coming up in my chronological order in a week or two and I'm thinking of skipping it then also.

Agreed. That show will never see the light of day as a main show, and if it is ever offered as a bonus show, the only station I could ever see possibly running it is Bill Benjamin's format and focus be d**ned WPNC.

If I owned a station I'd run it 4 times if it had no network commercials. The overnight crew deserves a couple of vacation days too.

I'm impressed you'd have a hypothetical overnight crew. At this rate you are lucky to have a day crew.

Ken Martin's WTOJ ran the Bicentennial show a few years ago, and then followed it by playing another few hours worth of number one songs from the Fourth of Julys from 1977 up to the then-present.

Actually, I've just been given the scoop as to this year's July 4 specials. One, should be obvious - the 80s will get the second installment of The #1 Hits of The 80s. The other - may not be so obvious? But it has a connection to the 80s special, all the same. Let's see who can figure it out first. And no cheating!

I'm guessing "Top 40 Hits of the 1980s ... So Far" from 1987. Brian
