Just heard back from Mike Eiland-WODC is running part 5 of "The #1 Hits Of The 70's" next Sunday night at 7. I hope WODC will also air the Giants of Rock N' Roll special as well.

On Sunday I emailed Bill Shannon of WWOW and he said they would be airing Part 5 of THE NUMBER ONES OF THE SEVENTIES SPECIAL but he did not know what day and time yet. I tried to email him again to find out the exact day and time and I have not gotten a response. If someone else wants to try that would be great. Maybe he might respond if a different person also inquired. His email is at the bottom of this link: www.1360wwow.com/WWOW_1360AM/Welcome.html

Just tuned into Magic 95.9 WPNC & they are playing the Top 100 Of 1983. They are doing some kind of year-end marathon. They didn't fix their mistake from Christmas time though as they played #52 & #51 from the Top 100 Of 1985 before going back to the 2nd part of 1983. But from last year marathon they played #52 & #51 of 1983's show are in the Top 100 Of 1985.

WTF, just how is Pat Benatar a bigger "Giant of Rock and Roll" than ELO, Electric Light Orchestra?!

Have WODC on now, but I got worried for a moment there when it went silent for a minute.

I caught that and happened to be in the building as I had another program to work on. I hit the next element which was our local spot break. Meanwhile I saw the first segment was still rolling silently. I don't know other stations that air this special but if you hear of one, let me know if there was silence after the David Bowie before the end of the first break. I checked the file and it was blank but kept rolling. Had I not been here the silence would have been over 10-15 minutes. I kept listening to it and the show actually starts over again near the end, then cuts off. That's what would have aired. The file that was downloaded was simply that way. Let me know what you hear on other stations. Might want to warn them but chances are you won't find anyone in.
I checked all future segments and we're good. I can go home now! Whew!
