^ 5/14/1994, or 5/21/1994? Either way, it's a new show. Hopefully next weekend, 2001 makes an appearance... You are getting your wish, and a new show as well as May 26, 2001 is featured this long weekend.

I still don't understand why they played the ACC 2003 closing theme to close out the rewind show unless if time was an issue... to be honest WW1 should have used the theme corresponding to the year they featured which in this case was 2001, and the 2000 theme should have been used that lasted through early 2003.

Despite entering June, this week's show is from May 30, 1998 (as that date was closer than the 6/6/98 show). Notice that this week that WLAW is ahead of WOGT streaming wise by a good several minutes or so.

After about 3 years of this year being absent, it finally returns to the rotation (although it will likely be sporadically for this year like 2000 and 2001 and if the other years of 2003-05 return too at some point). This week they go back to June 8, 2002.
Using WFYR as the stream today after discovering they air the show as well.

At least Bob mentioned the chart date earlier, before WW1 went and cut it off, yet again, as the show ended.

I noticed too that late in the Kingsley era like this show here, the bumper music coming out of commercial breaks were song lookalikes. Turns out GMI Media did the jingles back then.

Turns out we haven't had this year aired since late April 2016, with 2003's latest airing in June 2016, 2004 in May 2016, and 2005 in July 2016. Hopefully these will return to the rotation at some point (and may get a year-end spot).

Updated my list on page 38.
Turns out 2003 and 2004 had more episodes aired than 2002 (5 and 6, respectively), even with the 6/8 airing. Now 2005 has the fewest with 3.
While 90s country is good overall, my favorite period is probably from 1998-2001. But like pop/top 40, every year has great music.

Well this show this week as it is about to be ready to be finished up on a few affiliates is the earliest known the rewind show can air in CD quality, and it is from June 16, 1990. And I think they picked it because Father's Day is this weekend.
Hopefully this will be a sign eventually that shows prior to that will air in the future with a digital remaster...

Graig, bad news and good news. The bad news is, WW1 edited off the ACC jingles from the broadcast, but did bring back Bob's signoff and credits for it.

Well those jingles back then had the My Kind of Country, My Kind of Music tagline, and WW1 usually edited it out. As the years progressed, instrumental stingers would become the norm and in many cases WW1 would leave it in.

The rewind show they are going back to this week is from June 19, 1993. It also seems to me they are going light on 1993 this year given that it leads the pack so far on the number of shows featured from that year (although by a slim margin).

Maybe also in part because that was the last year-ender to air? Maybe in the near future some later 1990s years will be featured; the first half seems to be a little more favored in the series run so far.

I think that could very well be a possibility or even the early 2000s down the road, and speaking of which, we are going back to July 1, 2000 this week.
So far the months that has yet to air for that year are June and December, so hopefully this year we may see December be featured, and June possibly next year (even though we're still in that month).

We are going back 28 years ago this day to July 6, 1991, where it is the first new show this year (as the last 1991 show was a repeat episode). Maybe they might go heavier on 1991 in the 2nd half of this year and/or make it a year-end show once this year concludes. But we shall see...
