No September 1997, 1998, or 1999 shows this year rewind wise, or even 1992 for that matter. However, we do get September 30, 1995 this week, which is a new show.

Graig, this show's rewind went too far with Westwood 1. They actually edited off the #10 jingle.

Well this aircheck leaves all number jingles intact as this one there is from October 4, 1980 (3 hours back then).
Meanwhile on the rewind show, October 7, 2000 is the spotlight for the week. Notice the slow turnover by then in terms of the songs staying for so long.

Graig, Red Steagall and Slim Whitman had their final ACC hits on this show.

Graig, Red Steagall and Slim Whitman had their final ACC hits on this show. Also, note that Willie Nelson had two top 10 hits that week. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, no one was hotter (or better) than the Red-Headed Stranger. Brian

This weekend is another show that was aired before in 2015, from October 17, 1992. Not sure why they could have gone with the October 10 chart, but that was when they had 1992 being separated by two weeks when they aired 10/17/92 and 10/31/92 two weeks later.

No idea why either. Hopefully repeats don't occur too often, at least this early in the series. I updated my list on page 38.

Well, at least there is another aircheck just recently, and is from October 16, 1993. Maybe that will be an ACC Rewind feature next year.

I hope those at Westwood One know how we don't like that they edited the signoff, and closin' credits from Bob, for ACC rewind.

Even if we don't like it, don't expect WW1 to bend to our preferences.

No matter how hard we try, it just doesn't seem to work.
Anyway, back to a new show this time from October 19, 1996 this week.

If we stop listenin' to ACC rewind, then WW1 will get the message. We WANT Bob's signoff, and the closin' credits.

Maybe, but that would have to require more than that to make it work. Seems unlikely though, big companies probably won't budge.
Anyway, they are rewinding back to October 27, 2001 this week, which makes it the latest year so far to air in the series (ever since 2002-05 shows were dropped two years ago, and the 2000-2001 shows were reinstated about a year later). Maybe they will bring back the 2002-05 shows, or at least 2002 for that matter anyway. Airchecks would be the only way to go for now...

Why would WW1 drop the shows from '02-'05? I wonder what their reasonin' is.

Beats why the Kidde smoke alarm commercial didn't have any male testimonies. We men listen to the radio, too.
