Another thing I have noticed is that they are now showing the full complete country chart on Billboard, in this case prior to 2001, 75 songs (and 100 prior to 1990 and beginning in 1973).
Meanwhile, August 7, 1999 is the show for this week on the rewind show.

Graig, Cumulus did it again! They cut off Bob's signoff and credits! Most likely, to add more commercial time!

Just updated the show list on page 38. August 1999 is almost complete - only 8/14 is unaired in the series now. Outside of 1990, the late 90s are a little behind the rest of the decade in terms of number of aired episodes.
Edit: Just heard the 7/28/2001 show on the website, and everything was cut off after the outro to #1. At least let it go to Bob's announcing of the chart date, if they see fit to trim anywhere in the closing.

A new Don Bowman ACC from 10/11/75 has been unleashed to the public. This was when Willie Nelson was in his 2nd week at the top with his very first #1.

Always nice to see the really old shows again, but in the meantime, just catching the end of August 12, 1995's rewind show for this week and I have a gut feeling after #1's song that they will cut Bob's signoff again in a few minutes. Edit: And that was exactly what they did, again, for yet another week.

They sure did, Graig. As I said before, it's probably to get another commercial in.

This week's show they are rewinding back to is from August 15, 1998, and it features something that hasn't happened since 1980 where the Top 5 were owned or co-owned by women on the charts. That was back when they gave women full respect and I wish they would go back to doing that today...
Hopefully this week they will at least give full respect of the credits this time unlike the past few weeks where they cut off after the #1 song to not include the signoff and/or play the theme to the end...

And again yet another week of the same thing, credits cut off again. I'll have to message the issue on the CT40 FB page to see if this will be fixed next week and beyond. They really want to get more commercial time in...

We don't NEED more commercial time! what they give us for breaks is just fine.

You actually have no idea what constitutes "enough" commercial time. That is for the distributors and affiliates to decide.
And I doubt the end credits are being cut off to "add a commercial". It is more likely it is to get on with the music quicker to lessen the chance of listener tune out. You and I might enjoy hearing the credits, but the average listener will likely turn the station the moment the music stops. This is why the current AT40 shows don't have credits. I honestly am surprised the retro AT40 shows still keep them in full and it wouldn't surprise me if they stop that practice someday.

The show has to time out properly even with less of an ending so they’ve either edited less or added a commercial one would assume. But this is part and parcel to the fact this individual will never be happy. He will always complain about something. Songs are edited to allow for the allowable break time, he complains. Ending is edited, he complains. No guest hosts, he complains. If you recall it was just a couple weeks ago he was complaining about NOT ENOUGH commercials in a show. It doesn’t matter what happens he is going to complain. If the shows aired in full just as they did when they originally aired he’d probably complain the original commercials aren’t in. If the original commercials were in he’d complain the stations are automated so he never gets to hear a DJ skip a segment accidentally. If the station went to live DJ’s he’d complain they are MP3 format so he never gets to experience the LP/CD skipping in the middle of segment.

Just updated the aired shows post on page 38 to include 1995 and 1998. I noticed 1996 hasn't had any August shows aired yet, so I'll predict that for this weekend; guessing 8/24 since it's closer to the calendar date.

Here is the official response from the CT40 FB page with regards to the ending credits removed:
"Graig, the ending credits are removed from ACC Rewind for a number of reasons. One reason is for time to include the disclaimers through out the show about it being a "Rewind show from this week back in..." Also all of the info in the closing credits is old and shouldn't be mentioned on air to include: sponsors, people's names, and a mailing address that no longer exists. Shawn/GM"
I'm surprised that Premiere is still continuing to do it for now though on their AT40 the 70s and 80s...

mellongraig, thanks for sharing the response you received. It makes sense...much moreso when it's explained like such. I'm a little surprised it wasn't done sooner, and I know I'm not crazy about the practice, but it doesn't mean I don't understand it. The best solution, for me anyway, is to just obtain the original shows. You get the promo spots, the full show (first hour included), full credits, and, yes, even guest-hosted ones that will likely never see the light of "air".

Or even an aircheck would be close to a full show (minus the songs being trimmed/cut, but scoped ads are kept) like this one from November 15, 2003 on Youtube. About 31:54 or so into the aircheck, my local station where I reside gets a shoutout when mentioning the global network of stations (today they are now New Country 96.9 as part of the Newcap unified brand outside Alberta with the exception of Camrose, where in Alberta it is Real Country). Unfortunately they don't carry today's CT40 anymore as of several years ago.
