Just heard Casey talk up the biggest mover of the week 36 to 26 - 10 big notches - that sounds like a big hit - maybe #1 - likely Top 5 - certainly Top 10 right?
Baby I Lied. Peaked right there at #26.
I wonder - how many songs moved up 10 or more notches within the Top 40 just to stall right there at #26 or lower?

Five Man Electrical Band "Absolutely Right" in 1971, #40 to #27 but peaked at #26.

As I recall, A Flock Of Seagulls debuted at #40 with "Wishing," climbed ten notches to #30, and then peaked at #26 in 1983.

On 3/6/76, Just You and I-Melissa Manchester was the biggest mover of the week 40 to 30. It peaked at 27.
