Oh my goodness! I just remembered Nimoy is indirectly at Top 40 artist! He was the "guest vocalist" (really a Star Trek episode audio clip) on Information Society's 1988 hit "What's on Your Mind (Pure Energy)"!

One of my prized possessions is a Leonard Nimoy 45. It's from 1968 on the Dot label, #45-17125. A-Side: I'd Love Making Love To You B-Side: Please Don't Try To Change My Mind If you're curious... I'd Love Making Love To You - Leonard NimoyRIP... and prosper! Leonard.

Here are a few clips from the early career of Lenny Nimoy (as was known to his co-stars) which I found “fascinating”. His “star Trek” role at these point was years away. Clips from his first movie role in 1951: A movie called “Queen for a Day”. Billed as 'Leonard Nemey.' www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ws2QYa4yBS0His first TV appearance (minor role)--Aired 1/1/1953: The entire episode of the half hour classic CBS anthology series “Four Star Playhouse” titled “Knockout” (timemark 12:08/13:14/14:30 etc.); as one of Bulloti’s henchmen. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcm5FN_noPwAlso this entire episode aired on Feb. 6, 1960, from the 1st season of 30-minute crime/legal drama ‘Lock Up’ (episode title: ‘The Case of Frank Crotty’ aka ‘Morality and the Shield’); as Nino. www.youtube.com/watch?v=19TqJEp13CoRIP Leonard Nimoy; My favorite tribute quote by Buzz Aldrin who perfectly put it: “… a fellow space traveler…brought out Vulcan in all of us.”
