I can't listen to that song in 1978 when my GF moved.

I can't listen to Silent Night by Bing Crosby because my mom died May 15, 2014. She was on life support on 9 days after a major heart attack. She died 181 minutes after it was removed. I told her she find peace and happiness in heaven. It was in her best interest. The chorus "Sleep in heavenly peace" hurts.

For me, it is "Landslide," by Dixie Chicks because it was very popular around the time my father passed away, in fall 2002.

Today in Rock n Roll History) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_BirdWhat an awesome song to witness live! Johnny VanZandt ripping through the vocals in a way that would have made his brother proud. Once he finishes he tosses his mike to the roadie and walks offstage. Then the four-pronged guitar attack steps forward in tune, note-for-note perfection. They rip the lid off any arena they play. I was dead wrong when I thought it would be a going-through-the-motions cliché type of performance.
