A lawyer for Mike, Julie and Kerri, per the wire service WENN, griped to MetLife, charging negligence by Jean bars her from collecting the money... the report doesn't say where the insurer filed its action... WRTV Indianapolis, one of several who ran the story... the TMZ pieces just say the same thing as WENN, without all the annoying comments... dL

Fun(?) fact: in tonight's episode of "The Middle", the not terribly well to do parents ask their kids what they want in the parental will, and the kids can't think of anything. Patricia Heaton, narrating the episode, says "I guess that's the good thing about not having anything anybody wants. There's no fighting--unlike that Casey Kasem's family".
