I know we all complain about station screw ups that are annoying and usually the result of a lack of a human in the studio. I think I have the longest running to screw up today going on right now. Since Sunday July 20 WRKT Rocket 101 in Erie, PA has been airing the same weeks show of Flashback with Matt Pinfield. I have contacted the station and have even contacted those responsible for Flashback, who have actually contacted me back a few times to see if the problem has yet been resolved.
Honestly I am surprised they have not pulled the contract or gotten the correct shows on. While a very small market, there are many commercials that they have been contracted to run over the last three months but they have not.
Funny thing is, years ago I was a part time jock on the station before it went almost entirely automated
As far as I know, no station has ever repeated the same show for over three months. Two months, yes a few times, but I think this is a new record.
