Magic 96 in Birmingham that airs AT40 the 80s Sunday mornings has flipped. I assume they did not air AT40 today

At least the Christmas music being played on some stations as early as mid-October is better than stores decorating for Christmas as early as August. But still... bah humbug!
If I ran a radio station, December 1 would be the earliest I would start playing Christmas music. If I ran a store, November 26 would be the earliest I would decorate for Christmas, since that would be about a month before Christmas.

Ugh I'm dreading the next two months. Nothing but insufferable Christmas music. They are going to play Feliz Navidad and that bloody Mariah Carey song over and over and over. Ugh shoot me now.

It's not just radio, either. I went to the local shopping mall yesterday and they announced that Santa Claus will arrive there on November 8th--three weeks before Thanksgiving and "Black Friday", which would seem to be a more logical time for that.

Hate when stations play it before Thanksgiving or after Christmas day or the weekend just following.
