This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from The Dixie Chicks. This was their follow-up to their first Top 40 hit titled, "There's Your Trouble", and it was debuting at #93 on the 9/5/98 Hot 100. This song enjoyed greater success on the Top Modern Rock Tracks chart where it peaked at #15. There were two different versions of the song available so both are being featured here. This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from the heavy metal band Megadeth. This was a song from their 1992 CD, "Countdown To Extinction", and it was moving up a notch to #82 on the 10/31/92 Hot 100. It would peak at #71, spending 15 weeks on the Hot 100. This was the first of many songs the band would have on the Top Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The band is getting ready to release its 16th album, and last month, they sponsored a cruise on the Pacific Ocean called MegaCruise which featured acts such as Anthrax and Queensryche. This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from Sting. This was his last solo hit to make the Hot 100, and it was holding at its peak position of #94 on the 11/9/96 Hot 100. Sting would have four more chart hits after this with the next hit being... this same song, this time recorded as a duet with Toby Keith. That version performed a little better than the original as it peaked at #84 in December of 1997. This Week's Lost 90s Classic is from a British group named Blue Train. This was their only Billboard chart hit, and it was moving up 5 notches to #46 on the 11/23/91 Hot 100. With Billboard beginning to use SoundScan chart data the following week, this song plunged 31 notches to #77 on the 11/30/91 Hot 100.
