From the fifties, "The All American Boy" was sung by Bobby Bare but credited to Bill Parsons.

Joe Pizzulo for two of Sergio Mendes's hits. In fact, anyone who ever sang on Sergio's hits probably would fit the bill. Same, as was mentioned, goes with Santana up until 2000.
And one that we have argued on here before, but Phillip Bailey was never credited for "Easy Lover", at least by Billboard standards.
I'm not sure about all of Kenny G's hits, but definitely Lenny Williams for "Don't Make Me Wait For Love".

Same, as was mentioned, goes with Santana up until 2000. True for all top 40 songs. However, one Carlos-sung song from 1971 "Everything's Coming Our Way" appears sometimes on classic rock stations.

That is a good one, pb. You would have to think that if 1984 were 2014, Michael and Jermaine Jackson would have added a Top 5 hit to their credit with "Somebody's Watching Me". I don't feel too bad for them, however, because they snubbed Mick Jagger a few months later on "State of Shock".
Milli Vanilli was mentioned in the first post. Do they really fit the category? True, the people who sang it did not get label credit but neither did Rob nor Fab. If you want to count them, then you would have to add acts like The Archies as well.

AFAIK, Ted Nugent was not the vocalist on "Cat Scratch Fever." I believe it was sung by the rhythm guitarist in his band, so this may not qualify for this thread either. He did not receive credit on the label. Nugent has had several lead singers-the most famous being Derek St.Holmes, who sang Stranglehold and Free For All(to name just two) and on six albums.Ted did sing lead on Cat ScratchFever, however

Another full-fledged duet that wasn't credited (for label reasons?): "Whenever I Call You Friend" by Kenny Loggins and Stevie Nicks. It was Stevie's first hit outside Fleetwood Mac, but you'd never know it from the label or Billboard listing which just lists Kenny.

I guess Casey ignored the label and Billboard when in last week's 70s show, he gave the story about how Kenny who had wanted to be a solo artist for so long had yet to have such a hit. Said the tally read no solo artist top 40 hits and 4 as part of a duet as of 1978.

From the early 90s, I remember "Gentle" by Dino, with uncredited vocals by female singer Delona Tanner. Also, "Love makes things happen" by Pebbles was actually a duet with an uncredited Babyface, right? I'm sure there is more like these.

From the early 90s, I remember "Gentle" by Dino, with uncredited vocals by female singer Delona Tanner. You win for mentioning "Gentle". As much as I love Dino (yup...judge me all you want) it always seemed that he wanted to be KC 2.0. "I Like It" was like a revamped "That's The Way (I Like It)" and "Gentle" always reminded me of "Yes I'm Ready". And "Romeo" rhymes with "Please Don't Go" (OK...maybe a little bit of a stretch on that one) Delona Tanner definitely deserved credit on that song. Heck, she's even singing in the video RIGHT BESIDE DINO. And for that matter, Dr. Ice deserved credit on "Romeo". Again, HE WAS IN THE VIDEO RIGHT BESIDE HIM. If Bobby Brown can get credit for a number one on "She Ain't Worth It" then Tanner and Ice should get credit as well. Another one from that time: New Kids are pretty prominent on Tommy Page's "I'll Be Your Everything". But, they really were the backing vocals on that. I'm good with NKOTB getting no credit at all (insert your own jokes).

Etta James wasn't credited on "Good Feeling," probably because it wouldn't be considered hip to have a senior citizen on a rap record. But if she had been, I'm sure it would've broken all kinds of chart records.

Did Tammy Wynette get any credit for singing on the single version of "Justified and Ancient" by The KLF? I know the single was not the album version, but I'm thinking she didn't get credit on the single.
