It might be helpful to post what stations are airing Ken Martin's #1 Hits of the 70s Part 2 bonus show and what day and time it is being aired. I've been busy, so not monitoring this board as much as usual this week. A list of stations/dates/times would be most helpful...
We already know:
Saturday 7/5:
WODC 8:00pm

Just FYI, yesterday WWOW did an AT40 THE 70S marathon that included the very first show. Today they just did June 29, 1974 and are now playing THE TOP 40 OF 1976 so it looks like they are doing another marathon today. I bet sometime this weekend they do Part 2 of the NO. ONE OF THE 70S. On Memorial Day weekend they played Part One on Sunday.

So far so good. I'm listening, too. It's a 4 hour show that started at 8:00P EDT. A three-hour version would be on Segment 2 about that time.

8:00 EDT. Haven't heard any repeats and I'm following the listed chart so far. Of course, for this show if I didn't have a chart and heard no repeats I wouldn't know the difference! But can't say I notice anything abnormal. Good thing every song is #1!

Whew! Hour 2 vs. Segment 2. At first I thought you meant you were hearing SEGMENT 2 in Hour 2! Now THAT would be something! I think all is OK! As of 10:30EDT (right this minute) THE MORNING AFTER has just started. We're good, except for being around 8 minutes late because of the sales department.

6 parts in total. 1970-1972, 1972-1974, 1974-1975, 1975-1976, 1976-1978, 1978-1979. Figure an average of 42 #1's per show, plus the montages and other 'extras' (not the Optional Extras, btw) that might slip in.

Thanks again to Ken Martin for putting this series together. I found Casey's tribute to Jim Croce particularly touching. (By the way, what original show did that come from?)

I just looked at a list of all the #1's of the 70's and we have a LOT left to go. Thanks.
