I don't think you need to get an answer right to ask a question in the other thread. I only got one question right over there, but I asked two questions of my own.

How could "Take the Money and Run", which released in Spring 1976, be sampled in the 1974 song "Energy Crisis"? Just curious.

The dummies reference was my unsuccessful attempt to express that I was (up to now anyway) not capable of qualifying to ask a question in the other thread because I couldn't answer one correctly - in other words I'm the dummy. Anyway The Energy Crisis guess was a good one - but it was wrong - at this point I'm surprised no one has answered this correctly. So here's another clue Star Wars (Main Title)

Since Melissa was mentioned in the other question in this thread, I might as well mention here that she sang a song that is another clue to the answer of the first question - Just Too Many People.

They all made the Top 40 with songs with Midnight in the title. In that case, add Wilson Pickett and the Grass Roots to the list. I intentionally omitted obvious choices such as Gladys Knight and the Pips, Maria Muldaur, Grass Roots, etc to increase the degree of difficulty a bit. Didn't matter to sharpies.
