---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday 10 pm - 1 am (Sunday 12 noon - 3 pm - Local Australian Eastern Standard Time) 2NUR FM - Easy Listening - 103.7 FM The University Of Newcastle Newcastle NSW Australia www.newcastle.edu.au/community-and-alumni/arts-and-culture/2nurfm/how-to-listenThis is the direct station website link to their media player. Just hit the "Listen to 2NUR FM" icon and you're good to go. This should be listed as the primary streaming link with the tunein link posted as an alternate option. The discrepancy in the starting time is based on the current time differential of N.S.W. being 14 hours ahead of the U.S. Eastern Daylight Savings Time zone. At some point later this year, the times reflected on this thread (8 pm - 11 pm) will once again suffice. I ended up listing this as the Alternate link simply because it leads to the m3u file that several stations have, that's not universally-compatible. Far as I can tell, the TuneIn link avoids that step. Side note: How did we not notice the CKPC note under CKDX? Admittedly on my part it's from not combing this list carefully , but how did no one else notice? In any case, I've added them to the list as well. ***ANOTHER NEW STREAMING LINK UPDATE*** This player link may not be active during certain times. Sunday 7 pm - 10 pm WBET - Oldies 99.3 FM - True Oldies Sturgis MI www.wbetfm.com/listenlive.phpThe old player has been deactivated. Guess this explains the deal here... Updated.

WYNZ did not play AT 40 Sunday morning at 6am edt. And I couldn't get the existing streaming links to work. Had to go to their website player. This is the second (maybe 3rd?) week of WYNZ not airing AT40. C'mon Magic Mike! We need some updates here. This station no longer carries AT 40. And even if they had decided to keep it, the links listed here are no longer functioning. Some of them haven't worked for well over a year. This is the second time rustydj has posted this information to this thread. His first post was back on April 13th. This station is done, so please put a fork in them. Done. Also added WYVK, re-added Monsterous Radio and updated WQLB/WKJZ and CHNS. I saw the note regarding KQQL. What did they play yesterday? Side note: I'm actually not a board Administrator - if I was, I'd be able to deal with other content such as the spammers that occasionally pop up, plus it'd say Administrator under my username. The only things I can handle directly are the station threads due to being the guy who started them.

Muchos gracias Mike for all your updates! Unfortunately, I didn't get to monitor KQQL this Saturday 5/25/14. They probably played the 1982 show, although that's just a guess. As far as the title "Administrator" I hear what you're saying. For my own kicks and giggles, (and since I didn't know whether or not you were returning to this thread) I've been developing a somewhat parallel version of this list so I can keep updates and roster stations current. I've been working on the '70's list ONLY for now and don't know if I'll eventually attempt an '80's counterpart. I can eventually link you to it once it's more developed but for now it's just a work in progress. Even though many components are similar, I've made a few adjustments that I feel make it a little more navigable. I limit multiple streaming links and try to list just one or two per station. I've decided to disregard any info concerning Optional Extras. They're all but impossible to keep up with and once you find your "go to" stations you'll already know whether or not they play them. I've reinstated cross-referencing to indicate if a station plays both '70's and '80's shows along with the corresponding timeslots for their airing. I also provide streaming links, homepage links and countdown playlist links (where applicable) for each station's listing. One thing I decided to scrap (and this may be very polarizing and unpop- ular to some) is the listing of non-streaming stations. They don't seem to be relevant in the guide I'm creating because they can't be heard outside their local geographic markets and therefore can only be of benefit to a fraction of those trying hear AT 40 via this forum. Also, I list all stations chronologically based on the times they are playing the show on a weekly basis from Friday through Thursday. If they are a week or more behind the release schedule, that is clearly noted in the stations listing but they are not moved to the back of the list where they would not be seen by most users. Also, I'm actually adjusting and updating a stations starting and ending times each time they are affected by seasonal time shifts brought about when one area begins/ends daylight savings time and another doesn't. Again, everything is still a work in progress and many more adjustments may be made. By the way, it's great to have you back!

CHNS is now presenting AT40 the '70's from 8:00-11:00 a.m. local time on Saturdays. I just checked my recording and it was still the 80's show on Saturday, and the 70s show is still on Sunday morning.

Keeping track of 1059 Sunny FM WOCL Orlando...
Sunday 2/23: 1981 (first week of ever diverting from the 70s since they started airing the show in Feb 2011) Sunday 3/2: 1978 Sunday 3/9: 1983 Sunday 3/16: 1986 Sunday 3/23: 1985 Sunday 3/30: 1975 Sunday 4/6: 1979 (A show) Sunday 4/13: 1972 (A show) Sunday 4/20: 1978 Sunday 4/27: 1974 Sunday 5/4: 1976 Sunday 5/11: 1977 Sunday 5/18: 1973 Sunday 5/25: 1982
The prefernce is still 70s but I think when an early 70s show is paired with something 1986 or earlier an 80s show is possible. The 1972 show surprised me as they almost always go with the B show on 70-72 weekends.
It is a great station and for anyone who misses live radio with truly talented live, fun personalities give them a listen. The playlist is a good mix of 60s-80s and 1973-1987 AT40 all fit perfectly here. I can see why a 1970-1972 and 1988 show wouldnt though.

***Station Running Time Discrepancy***
As has been the case the past several weeks WMRX/WMPX - Sunny 97.7 - Continuous Lite Favorites - Beaverton/Midland MI
has been starting AT 40 one hour later than is reflected in this thread. The show begins at 7PM and concludes at 10PM.
I don't know if they changed the timeslot or if was just a clerical error on our end.

CJFX - 989 XFM did not play AT40 show today. Wonder about the 80s on Sunday. Haven't heard it here for approximately one month. Don't know about the '80's either. They recently dropped the AT 40 listing from the programs & info section of their website. I already gave them the boot on my '70's personal stations list forum. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AM Sunday 6/1/14 Addendum... No '80's Sunday show either. They should have left the shows on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Who cares if they were running a week late. It just gave everyone an extra shot to catch a slightly older show. Now we get nothing!

I just checked my recording and it was still the 80's show on Saturday, and the 70s show is still on Sunday morning. Agree completely. Old timeslot listings should be restored. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ***CHNS UPDATE*** The '70's show played just fine this morning 6/1/14. Why were the listed days reversed? There's been no changes from this station. The '80's STILL play on Saturday 7AM - 11AM and the '70's STILL play on Sunday 7AM-10AM. Thanks kchkwong for pointing this out. P.S. It appears the '80's show might not have been listed on that thread at all. Otherwise, it was erased when the '70's listing got erroneously switched to the wrong day. UPSHOT...Please return/add CHNS to the '80's thread on Saturday (7AM-11AM). Thanks!!!

In light of the new iheart station "classic AT40" here is a station note for -
Sunday 10 am - 1 pm KODS - 103.7 The River - #1 For Rock & Roll Oldies - Carnelian Bay CA 103.7 FM
When there are 2 shows offered and 1979 is the A show they usually play the earlier B show.

PLEASE NOTE: This list is meant only as a guideline - there are going to be individual instances of stations starting the show early or late, not airing parts of the show, not airing the correct show, not playing optional extras on a consistent basis, as well as many other instances.
NOTE: Stations outside of the United States may play AT 40 at a different time than listed due to recent time changes. (thanks to poster Marv101 for this suggestion) www.timeanddate.com is a great site for converting time zones. (thanks to poster realitycheck for this time-related information) European time zones start daylight time on the last Sunday in March (usually two weeks later than the U.S.) and end it on the last Sunday in October (one week earlier than the U.S.). The rest of the year has British Time 5 hours ahead and Central European Time 6 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AMERICAN TOP 40 (The 70's) with Casey KasemDate of Broadcast Time of Broadcast (All times EST - USA) Station Call Letters Station Frequency Link (to listen online) If a station plays Premiere AT 40 Optional ExtrasIf a station does not play AT 40 Optional ExtrasIf a station plays AT 40 - 70s - 4 Hour Edition ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday 9 am - Noon KOLA - All Classics...All The Time - San Bernadino/Redlands CA 99.9 FM player.liquidcompass.net/KOLAFM
Thanks to upland1425 for the following: Please add the following alternative link (for winamp / iTunes) to the stream of KOLA-FM: (The same will apply to other stations using the LiquidCompass LC Pro Flash Player)
KOLA-FM edgev1.den.echo.liquidcompass.net/KOLAFMAAC
Plays Optional Extras NOTE: Not on a consistent basis
NOTE: Station also airs AT 40 - 80s - on Saturday at 8 am EST
** Station's website tells the AT 40 broadcast date** www.kolafm.com/page/71/Casey_Kasem
UPDATE: According to poster marv101 (Dec 9 2012): on Sunday evenings at 10 PM (EST) they re-air the top 10 from the 1970s countdown, followed by the top 10 from the 1980s countdown at 11 PM; that's been the case for several months.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please note a new start time 7a Pacific, 10a Eastern for KOLA 99.9 FM, it is still on right now. It's not at their website yet, but the Facebook person notified me in our conversation this passed week about airing June 2nd, 1979, 3-hour or 4-hour, instead of that 6/5/76 repeat from just last year!

Thanks for that update. Tuned in just after 7AM MST/PDT to see which show they were running and got some thinly-disguised ad for a mortgage debt-relief company masquerading as a 'talk show'. Now I know why!

Now I know why! You're welcome! Now you and everybody else know why KOLA will never get it with a 4-hour 70's show, informercials that nobody cares about, as The O'Jays sang, money, money, money, money. Money! I'm done trying to convince 'em thanks to Premiere Radio Network's Classic American Top 40 channel now at iHeartRADIO www.iheart.com/#live/Classic-American-Top-40-6545/, its little bonuses, it's also commercial free, Optional Extras included!

CJFX and Monsterous Radio have dropped the 70s and 80s. I assume the new 24 hour iHeartRadio station had a big impact on their listenership, as they were a week behind.
