European time zones start daylight time on the last Sunday in March (usually two weeks later than the U.S.) and end it on the last Sunday in October (one week earlier than the U.S.). The rest of the year has British Time 5 hours ahead and Central European Time 6 hours ahead of U.S. Eastern Time.

So, here is the new thread for the 80s station list. I will begin working on sifting through the 70s station list info promptly.

To keep the list as simple and to-the-point as possible, I've removed a lot of the extra info if it doesn't necessarily need to be there, or else edited it down as much as need be. (For example, the WMXY entry had FIVE notes all talking about how they don't play Premiere extras consistently; a tag of "not consistent" is enough.)

I've also removed the tags for stations that also play the 70s - the thread for those stations should be enough. I did leave it in, though, for stations where it's the 70s and 80s back-to-back, as that can affect starting/ending time, and that SHOULD be taken into account here.

As I stated in the other station thread, I need some help with info that may or may not still be on several stations. Here it all is:

It seems they have stopped playing the extras, and instead play, "iHeart Radio" extras from breaking new bands. I'm not sure all iHeart Radio stations do this, however.

WFMX: They're noted for playing the Premiere extras during the overnight airing, but sometimes skip one or more of them during the 8 AM airing. Is this still the case?

The timeslot for this has almost certainly changed, even given the time difference. I just tuned in and they are in their programming block called "Best Music".

On their website, they have the show slotted in at 06:00-10:00 their time. "Best Music", aka regular programming, is 12:00-23:59. So:

#1 - It appears that they're not airing the full show now rather than just the 3-hour version.

#2 - It's moved to earlier in the day. What time, I can't be sure. I can try to guess the time difference later, but I wonder if it might be better to try to pin this down next week.

For now, I'm going to leave it where it is on the list, because I definitely don't want to put off having the new thread up for another whole week.

They only show a 3-hour window for this station, but are showing the 7/24/82 show as scheduled for this week (and listing all 40 songs). So either they only play a 3-hour truncated version of the shows, or the schedule is not accurate.

A few additional trivial facts--this is the station on which I began listening to the show when I was a kid. Back then their moniker was "KGOR - Rock 100", and they aired AT40 from 7 - 11 pm on Sundays between 1977 and 1982. A few of the shows that include KGOR station mentions are: 7/29/78, 6/2/79, 7/26/80, and 8/15/81.

Their AT40 page is a bit misleading because they list the 4 hour '80s edition but only play 3 hours. For example, last week they listed #100-#51 of the year-end 1981 countdown, but I can confirm they did start at #88 with the Four Tops.

Note: I only listened to this AT40 affiliate last weekend for the first time. If anyone else has a better knowledge of this station and their handling of AT40, please feel free to correct me.

i have a feeling All80s.ie has dropped the show,they did'nt play it on saturday or sunday - will have another listen this coming weekend to see if it was a one off (a shame if it has gone again as it was nice to hear the show on a saturday afternoon UK time )
