Baby I love your way - Big Mountain I'm not in love - 10cc / Will to Power Jump - Kris Kross You know, I was thinking "Jump", but then I thought there was some talking before it. But I think that was on the CD and not on the single.

Sweet talkin' woman' weren't the 1st words of the song! Yeah they are, listen for the vocoder part, someone, either Jeff Lynne or Richard Tandy had to speak those words through it, Lynne then answers "Where did you go?", so this one definitely qualifies! Also, Start Me Up technically weren't The Rolling Stones' first words, "If ya" was.

"Free your mind" by En Vogue would fit here in their album version, but not with the single edit.

"I Am Woman" by Helen Reddy is another good example too. Hit #1 in 1972, if I recall.

Another close call on this one is the Pretenders' "Brass In Pocket" - the only time the title of the song is sung is right at the beginning. However, the work "Got" is in front of it, so technically it probably doesn't qualify.
