KKLZ will be running 4/17/71. And so will CKUL-FM. That's unfortunate, but I can understand why they haven't touched 1971 yet this year.

WBBG will play 1979 twice, though only 3 hours of it.

The shows that are 1979 are probably all 3 hours (one is confirmed). At the KQQL website type "casey" in search box to get show detail. I had problems with the KCLH stream (drop outs and skipping) KQQL 107.9 FM www.kool108.com/cc-common/onair/ 1971 KQQL, which would be my local affiliate, almost always plays the late '70s program. The last time their site listed the early '70s show, it turned out to be incorrect and they played late '70s instead. I guess we'll have to find out on Saturday. And the verdict is.... 1971.

KQQL is indeed playing April 17, 1971 right now. I believe this is the first time they've chosen an early '70s program since the two-show option started last year. Honestly, I'd prefer stations to play the 3 hour 'B' show if they won't air all 4 hours from 1978 or 1979. I can always catch the 4 hour program on WODC.

WORC, KVRW, and WWZW all went with 1979, apparently the 3 hour version in each case.
And did I miss something, or did Larry not give the chart date in his intro to the 1971 show?

Question - when WJER plays the four-hour version, do they start the show an hour earlier?

Question - when WJER plays the four-hour version, do they start the show an hour earlier? From what I remember, they had the show end an hour later rather than starting it an hour early. But... 1) they'll probably play 1971 2) they haven't played a four-hour show in its entirety since the Disco special (they did play the first hour of the 7/14/1979 show the next weekend, but the last three hours was a full 1972 countdown; ever since the 8/4/1979 show, they've started with the second hour.) If either of those two things occur, I'll be sending another e-mail.
