WJER's website says 1972, so it'll most likely be 1975. When will they ever get the website to be accurate? It's getting insane when they don't air 4-hour editions like they're supposed to, or not show them despite what the website says! also, note that AT40 will air "after Cleveland Indians baseball"

Folks, I was wonderin' if there's anybody like me, who doesn't record the shows for posterity? Please let me know. Thanx!

Folks, I was wonderin' if there's anybody like me, who doesn't record the shows for posterity? Please let me know. Thanx! I thoroughly enjoy AT 40, and can appreciate that people would want to record the shows. Personally, I don't need to copy them.

i only started recording the AT40 shows at the begining of last year ,now i record on my PC and on my mobile phone (via tune in pro) but i can see why people would just want to listen once,I'd miss not having a few AT40 shows on my phone or my computer though

I used to share an office with other folks who either squabbled about which station to have on in the background during the day, or simply wanted the radio off. Ever since I moved into a new office (all by myself, and with poor reception), I play shows as background music during the day ~ one before lunch, one after. Makes the day fly right by.

Can anybody tell me the reason that Premier offers two 70s shows some weeks. I can't recall if any of those in the know on the boards have ever answered this question, so a somewhat speculative answer: as we are now to the point where the early 70's shows are 40+ years in the past, and several oldies stations continue to slide their windows of which years they play to more recent times, Premiere's offering of a second show along with a show from 1970-72 provides the ability for the oldies/classic hits stations to choose which one to play. For those that still air music from as far back as 1970 or earlier, the 1970-72 option is probably acceptable (also some stations apparently just like the wider rotation of shows). Other stations always go with the late-70's option since it fits their format better. The other issue is the newer Premiere format of airing 4-hour shows with the optional first hour. It appears that some stations don't want to deal with playing a truncated show for the Oct '78 - Dec '79 shows, so they end up going with the true 3-hour show instead.
