Taylor Swift also had a hit called "Fifteen". I don't know if it ever made it to AT40, let alone peak at #15. "Fifteen" peaked at #11 on AT40 three years ago. On one week it was at #15. And not mentioned "Fifteen" was the AT40 (Pop version) Two-For-One this week.

The Raspberries had a #18 hit with "Overnight Sensation (Hit Record)". Would that be criteria that was good enough to be considered a hit record? To me it is.
Unfortunately, if you look at the lyrics they were unable to forecast their chart action.
"If the program director don't pull it, then it's bound to get back its bullet".
For the first eight weeks, the song had a bullet reaching #20. It lost its bullet in the ninth week rising 20-18. Never regained the bullet, falling from 18-38 in the tenth week. After 2 more weeks, it fell out to the Hot 100.
What a great song!

Don't Bring Me Down by Electric Light Orchestra was the highest debuter in over a year and one of the 3 highest debuting songs in the past 5 years on 8/11/1979 at #18, then the biggest dropper on 10/20/1979, falling 26 notches from #13 to #39!

Unfortunately, I have to dive inside the lyrics for "listen to the countdown; they're playin our song again", by M, which I mentioned in another thread...

If I read correctly, I think "19" by Paul Hardcastle was at #19 at some point during its AT40 run. I definitely know it didn't peak at #19.

Didn't Barenaked Ladies "One Week" spend one week at #1 on the Hot 100?
