Alan Blunder had a rough countdown, trying to figure out two of the artists last songs to chart. He said Belinda Carlisle's last Top 40 hit was the one he announced, "Leave a Light On" even though "Summer Rain" made the Top 40 in early 1990. He then said "Blame it on the Rain" was Milli Vanilli's last hit before being outed as frauds, even though "All or Nothin'" also made the Top 40 in early 1990.

Furthermore, Alan implied that Rob and Fab's cover was blown solely as a result of an incident at a concert where a behind-the-scenes record they were lip-syncing to started to skip. That incident may have spawned rumors, but I thought that their fate was sealed in the fall of 1990 when Frank Farian himself publicly revealed the embarrassing truth (in response to Rob and Fab's demands for higher royalties for their second album).

Don't let Alan on the 90's on 9 channel. When announcing Sybil, he mentioned she was cousins with one of the members of On Vogue.

Alan said Pump was Aerosmith's big comeback record two years after they returned to the charts in 1987 by being featured with Run DMC. Of course Steven Tyler and the guys real return was one year after 1986's Walk This Way with the album Permanent Vacation.

Alan said 'Sin was one of only two songs Pet Shop Boys have ever played live in addition to West End Girls. That would be a short concert!
I think he meant to say those are the only two to be included as part of the setlist at every show.

OMG after claiming 1985 is his favorite year, Alan royally f***ed up the intro saying countdown Walk of Life was Dire Straits 2nd biggest hit. That would actually be the #4 Sultans.

Say You Say Me was tagged 1986 even though it would peak at #1 before the end of 1985. Ditto w/ I Miss You.
