The (81) for the display for "No Reply At All" is missing.

Mark said 'we're not done with 'former Fleetwood Mac members' before Trouble. Of course at this point in 1981 everyone on this countdown was still in good standing w/FM.

They're playing the original 1976 version of "Say Goodbye to Hollywood" by Billy Joel instead of the live 1981 version.

OMG what version of Atlanta Lady is this? Definitely not the hit. Ditto with Say Goodbye To Hollywood. This sounds like studio version, not Live hit version. It is the studio version that was released on Billy's "Turnstiles" album in 1976. Oddly I heard them play the live version on 80s on 8 before.

Nina said Billboard ranked Physical #1 all time. It was actually #10 (Twist #1)

One gem we missed from last week's '87 countdown: Alan mis-read Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam's "Lost in Emotion" as "Lost Emotion".

OMG, Alan reviewed songs #7 and #8 and then jumped straight to #4??

The guys were 'hit free' for a couple years according to Alan after their 70s trio of Sara, Rich Girl and She's Gone. I guess top 20s It's A Laugh and Wait For Me don't count. Then he said Voices produced biggies KOML and Lovin' Feeling. He left out You Make My Dreams.

The (81) for the display for "No Reply At All" is missing. That is also true for "Tryin' to Live My Life Without You" (just the song title, no year classification). Also, all of the countdown songs that have (82) on their display (like "Let's Groove", "Waiting for a Girl Like You", "Every Little Thing She Does is Magic", "Our Lips Are Sealed", "Oh No", and "Physical") should have (81) at the end of them instead, since clearly they entered the Hot 100 before the end of October. In the case of "Our Lips Are Sealed", it entered the chart on the last week of August.

I think that has to do more with when they all peaked than with when they entered the chart. Though yes, there are a couple that don't make any sense, like at least "Physical" should have (81) on its display instead because it hit #1 during that year.

If that's true, then it's also strange that "That's All", "Pink Houses", and "Running with the Night" have (83) classifications, even though those entered the chart in November/December of '83 and peaked during 1984. And I thought "Oh No" being an '82 song didn't make sense, either; That one was already descending from its peak (#4) by the time the '82 calendar year began. Ditto for "Our Lips Are Sealed" and "Every Little Thing She Does".

Mark said 'we're not done with 'former Fleetwood Mac members' before Trouble. Of course at this point in 1981 everyone on this countdown was still in good standing w/FM. I think Mark also said " current Fleetwood Mac members" during the talk-break before "Trouble", and after mentioning Mike Campbell (the guitarist of The Heartbreakers), who played guitar on "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and was the latter song's co-writer.

I don't know why they've been using the older intros with Martha Quinn lately.

Mark just said 1981 instead of 1980 while outroing Billy Joel.
