From time to time, Casey decided not to mention subtitles of certain songs during their entire chart run. Here are a few to get started with.....
Lay Down (Candles in the Rain)...Melanie, 1970 (If You Let Me Make Love to You Then) Why Can't I Touch You.....Ronnie Dyson, 1970 Touch Me (I Want Your Body).....Samantha Fox, 1987

From more recent years:
My Neck, My Back (Lick It) - Khia Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me) - Train I Can't Sleep Baby (If I) - R. Kelly

IIRC, he rarely (if ever) mentioned the full title of Michael McDonald's "I Keep Forgettin' (Every Time You're Near).
Casey also had a tendency at times to recite lyrics as a song faded or was introed, which would sometimes include a subtitle without directly inferring that it was part of the song's actual title.

I only remember maybe one show in which he said the subtitle of the Jacksons' "Shake Your Body (Down To the Ground)".

Superwoman (Where Were You When I Needed You)...Stevie Wonder, 1972 Eres Tu (Touch The Wind)...Mocedades, 1974 Disco Duck (Part 1)...Rick Dees, 1976 I'm 99% sure on those listed above. And if I'm wrong, I'll bet reachinforthestars will correct me. But here's one that nobody can dispute: Clones (We're All)...Alice Cooper, 1980

Hey mister, that last one should go under a different thread that is titled.....Songs whose titles AND subtitles were not mentioned by Casey. Cuz according to a thread also near the top of the list right now, that song was never played on AT40.

A correction:
"Disco Duck (Part 1)" was mentioned by Casey in the outro of its debut week, September 4, 1976. I do not know if "(Part 1)" was mentioned again.

Here's one in reverse: Fuel's "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" was only ever mentioned by its subtitle!

For obvious reasons, so was Eamon's "(I Don't Want You Back)"---I won't print the other part!

There's one subtitle I've always heard Casey say: "Don't You (Forget About Me)".

When Barbara Mandrell's remake of "If Lovin' You Is Wrong (I Don't Want To Be Right)" was in the Top 40 in 1979, it was always identified as just "I Don't Want To Be Right."

For obvious reasons, so was Eamon's "(I Don't Want You Back)"---I won't print the other part! That song was a hit in 2003-04, spanning two AT40 hosts; both Casey and Ryan of course used only the subtitle, and Seacrest did the same in 2010-11 when confronted with Cee-Lo Green's "....You (Forget You)". Back to Casey and subtitles, in 1977 Barbra Streisand had a hit officially listed as "Love Theme From 'A Star Is Born' (Evergreen)", and Casey almost always said the longer, official title. I think I've heard one, maybe two shows where he used the one word subtitle.

I think I've heard one, maybe two shows where he used the one word subtitle. When they did '77 back in March when it was #1, he led with the full title, and omitted 'Evergreen' at the end.
