KOLA-FM is listing 10/18/86 as the show two weekends from now. Is this a standalone or the 'B' option or is it known yet? Doubtful it could be a standalone since 1986 just had a standalone not even a month before. If it is the 'B' option the 'A' has to be either 10/17/81 or 10/23/82. And I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a 1981 show here given we're just coming out of a 4 month drought of 1981 shows. Plus 10/17/81 last aired in 2012 making it a good candidate for a repeat at this time.
I don't know yet, but it would be up for the weekend of October 19-20, four weeks after the last 1986 standalone. That's pretty close, but not impossible; 1986 shows were also featured just four weeks apart in June and July, as were 1988 A's in March and April. 10/18/86 was an A only once before, in 2012 (it was also a B in 2017). If it's a B it would probably be to 10/17/81; I can see KOLA opting for the 1986 B in that case but probably not if the A is 1982. Then again, they've lately mostly been playing the A's from whatever year.

I like Grease 2. In fact I prefer it over Grease. ::ducks and runs:: Sequels are usually disappointing. Back To The Future, for example. don’t know about Xanadu, since I’ve never seen it so I can’t comment, the music from the soundtrack is great though. Not all the time, Back to the Future's ending set up Part II then that one did the same for Part III, watch Xanadu, must see if you're an Olivia Newton-John fan!

Well that klymaxx song was the #3 song of the year 1986, according AT40's year end that aired last year. I'm guessing this years 'year ender' will be from the early 80's

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 10/18/86 2nd Guess - 10/17/81
The KOKZ clue almost gives this one away. Going with 1986 because given KOKZ's history, I can't imagine they would play a 1986 'B' over a 1981 'A'.

I'm guessing this years 'year ender' will be from the early 80's I actually think it will be 1985. Pete B offered a clue some time ago that suggested that this coming weekend's show may be the last regular 1985 of the year, and 1985 hasn't been the year end show since 2010--longer than anything else from 1980-87.

HATE it, when WWIS ends well before 5PM central. By 4:54, they were already back to local programming.
