Just following WGHN 92.1 as they ended up a parade coverage and went into CBS radio broadcast. The announcer mentioned that within the hour they will be playing a AT40 traditional special broadcast. Didn't say which special they will be playing but will be hoping it's the 7/4/87 program. Show will come on around 8am PST / 11 am EST. Update WGHN has gone with 1981 so does anyone know of a station today playing all 4 hours of the top hits of the 80s so far?

Tried to catch WKIX which is also in the first hour right now however both DAR and all my devices are unable to get the station in so it's a bust for that station. Guess this time around I'll have to forget hearing the first hour, at least I caught the other 3.

So did WHAN air the 86 show last night??? Is this a new station? I don't see it listed in the stations thread. Ashland is metro Richmond, the signal reaches Bowling Green which should also very easily pick up WGRQ which always airs the A show, so be nice to have a station nearby airing B shows. I also don't see any mention of AT40 on their website yet. In fact on sunday it says it airs: Sunday 7PM: Retro Rock & Soul with Ron Moody

Now they're airing an episode of The Acoustic Storm (a three-hour show that airs on Sunday nights) so I don't expect them to play it this time. Hopefully WTOJ airs it on the July 4th weekend since they didn't this weekend.

I figured that if they replaced an OE, it would be "Romancing the Stone", but "Doctor Doctor" wasn't the song I was hoping they'd use. Still a good set of extras overall.

Digging that set of extras. Would rather have the Twins replace Corey Hart, but no biggie.

For the June 8 show I predict 6/5/82.
It either has to be this or 6/13/87 but that one is more like to air the week after.

Wow, "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins has been Premiere's Optional Extra with Larry Morgan voicing its different intro six times from 2010-2015, has to be the record! 2010/2019: 5/30/81 2012: 6/6/81 2014: 6/13/81 2011: 6/20/81 2015: 6/27/81 2013: 12/26/81 AKA Top 100 of 1981 (Part I) There's another song used as an optional extra seven times since Larry Morgan took over. It's not sung by Phil Collins, but co-produced by him!

Prediction for next week's show:
1st Guess - 6/5/82 2nd Guess - 6/11/88
Last week's 2nd guess is this week's first. Another show that was last played as an 'A' in 2010, though it did get played as a 'B' in 2015 (ironically as the alternate to 6/11/88). 1987 is the show that is the most due for a spin, but my guess is it waits until the third week in June...
