If they have to do repeats over the next couple of weeks, the best possibilities would be 10/15/83 (incidentally, the first Premiere 80s AT40 I ever heard, when I stumbled across it on WQSR on my car radio seven years ago) and 10/17/87, since they were the longest ago.
Waiting to air 10/31/87 would mean three months since the last 1987 show, during which most other years have been played twice (1981, 84, and 86 have, and two or three of 1980/82/83/85 depending on what gets aired the next few weeks) and it might fit better next year when Halloween will be on a Saturday, thus keeping it in October.

Darned automation! Happens when the stations run the same ad twice, in the SAME break!

Darned automation! Happens when the stations run the same ad twice, in the SAME break! Uh, Dave... You didn't post what station was having automation issues. Having said that, maybe it would be better to email the station in question regarding automation issues rather than post here. If the station is alerted to the issue, they are likely to do something about it.

I don't understand why it bothers you when the online stream repeats the same filler ads. Its filler content. As long as the show airs, why does it matter? Just curious

WGHN listeners: They're going to be airing college football tonight starting at 6:30 PM so the countdown will start at noon.

WGHN just skipped the first extra, which is rare for them since they always play all four of them.

They played the other three extras so I'm guessing they just didn't want to play an obscure song on their station.

JMW, I guess you meant 'GHN started at noon Eastern time, 'cause it's now 3:18 central time, and the show's over. Rats!

How about this? WMMX may have played the entire show without cutting in late with extra ads! They at least played the very beginning of the show, which is pretty rare for them...

WNYR runs the MOST commercials I've EVER heard in a break. Good grief!

It seems to me that 'NYR censors either, artists, or songs that they don't care for. That's just WRONG, guys!

Makes you wonder if 'NYR even CARRIES the show, anymore. I've heard over 26 minutes of nothin' but commercials!

Gang, is there a thread that tells about stations deliberately NOT playing certain artists on the shows. I'd like to hear about it!
