Where can I find a list of the VJ top 40 songs that airs on XM 80's on 8 Friday nights at 9:00 eastern time? How do I contact the DJ's that tape the show? Email or a phone number? Also there's this thread, where recently the playlists have often been posted (I often contribute them.) xmfan.com/viewtopic.php?t=112401In the VJB40 countdown on this board, the date of the chart they use is usually posted. Since the last few years they've adhered to the Billboard Hot 100, you can look up the AT40 playlist for that week and unless it's a special that's what the VJ's play, minus LDD's and extras.

Thing is, only one person that I could see guessed Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' "Do You Wanna Touch Me," and nobody so much as thought of Marshall Crenshaw. And then we had one person (not me this time, heh heh) guess Dolly Parton's iconic " I Will Always Love You." Que sera sera, I guess. Brian

Is anyone else having problems with the WWIS player? The show cut out in the middle of LW#2 "Rosanna" by Toto.
EDIT: Nevermind; the stream seems to be OK now.

^I am wondering if 1982 won't be the Top 100 show at the end of 2014. I am guessing we hear either that one or 1984. If we do get '82, there probably won't be another regular show--or maybe one more between now and then.

If 1982 is the year end show then Premiere will probably play it one more time between now and December. Maybe two, likely no more than that since they do tend to skip regular shows from the year-end countdown year for a while prior to playing it, but I don't think they'll completely leave it out for more than four months. I could be wrong though.

I could be wrong though. Indeed, only twice has a year-end show aired where the year in question hadn't aired since as far back as September - 2007 and 2010. 2007 had 1984, which only aired three times those eight months before year's end. And 2010 had wonky 1985 scheduling in general. As I am not expecting this year to set a new record in this regard, I'd say with five '82 shows so far this year...we get one more after this one. Truth be told, though, I wouldn't be surprised if we get 1980 at year's end instead. With a grand total of three shows so far this year, they're on a much better track to end in a Top 100 come holiday time.

I think we'll get 2 more 1982 shows, one in September and one in November.

Brian I will be lucky to get all the extras correct by 2018 (even if I regularly guess the extras in the next four years). )if I guess both the '70s and the '80s regularly)--I just can't seem to figure out the Optional Extra Algorithm. Maybe by then, therte will be a third set of extras to guess (Casey's Top 40 or Shadoe), as well as a 1960s version just for fun (a fourth set).
