Great list but it would be even greater if you could note in a different color those shows that are guest-hosted. That way we will have a better idea of the shows that are eligible to be broadcast on these 2 series. But it is a great list just the same.

If Premiere has been going light on some early 70s years, SXM has done the same for the later part of the decade lately. They haven't aired 1978 since May, and last weekend was their first 1977 in four months.

Hey Duke:
I corrected the list to reflect the fact that those shows are ALL Casey hosted. Guest-hosted shows should be omitted (if any are left, please let me know) Specials not broadcast thus far are listed under the regular shows.

The list above has several guest-hosted shows on it....10/11/75, 2/6/76 which should be 2/7/76, 7/16/77, 5/13/78 and 7/8/78. Just to clarify, reply #22.

^WOW, those in charge of programming at SXM must be wild about the disco-era music that populated the charts in 1979 to have aired all Casey-hosted shows within four separate months in that year -- January, April, May and July. Further, if they do not play 8/25/79 next weekend, they'll could play 9/22/79 (or 10/6) later on, which would add a fifth month to this list.

Funny you say that, because I've always gotten the impression that SXM is partial to the early 70's. They seem to play a ton of '70 shows in the second half of the year. They do play '79 shows fairly frequently, but I've always wondered if that trend started back when Premiere wasn't airing '79 shows, so SXM was the only means to hear them.

I have always wondered how much SXM takes into account what Premiere is or is not playing. One trend that has changed immensely is playing the same show that Premiere plays. I think it happened about 10 times in 2010. But last year it happened only twice and this year, it has not happened at all. So maybe they are paying attention to what Premiere plays of late.
