I had no idea that 5/3/75 hasn't aired since 2010-Hopefully,we'll hear that show next weekend. '75 and '71 are due so '75 works for me.

Though Casey even took part in the Jerry Lewis MDA telethons in the 1980's.

Casey mentioned in AT40: The 70's 4/29/1978 show regarding Dolly Parton's "Two Doors Down", she had to put the single release on hold to not conflict with a cover version by another country artist.

Bee Gees should have done what Dolly Parton did. After Tavares' version of "More Than a Woman" dropped, they should have released their version. I totally forgot the Dolly Parton/Zella Lehr story. What's funny is that Lehr was on RCA -- Parton's label too -- so it sounds like the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Breaking Parton on the Pop side was supposed to be a big priority for RCA at the time. As to the Bee Gees, it was nice of them to want Tavares to have the hit on MTAW, but radio was playing the BeeGees version off the LP (most stations just ignored the Tavares 45) and radio REALLY wanted the BeeGees version to be a single. Even after the Tavares single had come and gone, the Gibbs' take would still have been huge.

Yes! 5/3/1975 - where Casey makes his truth behind the singer of "Shaving Cream". The B show could be 5/5/1979.

It very well could be--in that 76, 77 and 78 have recently played, and Premiere is really emphasizing later 70's selections.
