So it looks like WRIT is saying 1976 for next weekend...I'm guessing 11/6/76 (since it will be Nov. 7th). Maybe they go with 11/9/74 and 11/17/73 the following weeks? Time will tell... And with the Christmas alternate shows starting up again, most likely no regular B shows until either the year-end countdown or January. (An A show from 1976 of course wouldn't have one anyway.)

I'll predict the 1976 extras:
Brick - Dazz David Dundas - Jeans On Hall & Oates - Do What You Want, Be What You Are

KLFM went '72. I don't think they like the 4-hour shows. KLFM always plays the early 70's shows over late 70's shows when they can.

Assuming we get the 11/6/76 show, I'll predict these songs for optional extras:
* "Hot Line" by The Sylvers * "Livin' Thing" by The Electric Light Orchestra * "Dazz" by Brick

Full-length version of "Kiss You All Over"! Good to hear it, and kind of surprising as it was on it's way down at #6 after four weeks at #1.

What a difference between the 9-30-78 show and the 10-28-78 show in terms of lenghth of certain songs. I heard a rare AT40 "bathroom break" song in Boston's "Don't Look Back." There is a chance that we could hear a third straight Boston single in consecutive weeks with" More Than A Feeling" if the 76 show becomes official next week. Remember we heard "Amanda" on last week's 80's B show 10-25-86! I also heard one of the most depressing songs with Al Stewart's "Time Passages" Between Al Stewart and Dan Fogelberg in the early 80's, It's a wonder that certain people made it out alive between 1978-1982! A lot of depressing songs during that period.

What's so depressing about "Time Passages"?

A lot of depressing songs during that period. I agree with Hervard... what's wrong with Al Stewart songs? "Year Of The Cat" from '77 is one of my all-time favorite songs, and "On The Border" is a great tune which failed to hit the Top 40. Also, why pick on Dan Fogelberg? I wish we would have heard the 11/4/78 countdown this weekend as "The Power Of Gold", a fantastic song he sung with Tim Weissberg, would have kicked off the Top 40. Dan's "Heart Hotels" is one of my favorite songs from 1980. I'll admit that many Dan Fogelberg songs may not have the fastest tempos but he has sung many songs.

What I'm getting at here is the composition of certain songs such as "Time Passages" and "Same Old Lang Syne" I am not dogging either artist, I'm just saying that people react to music in different ways rather than label everything. I happen to like Al Stewart and Dan Fogelberg, but a few of their songs put me in a melancholy mood and that is not always a bad or negative thing. If an artist can create a song that can create different moods or perspectives, then that artist wrote a great song!

Agree--I am a big fan of not just those two songs, but any of Al Stewart's hits. Both "Time Passages" and "Year of the Cat" were songs I've really liked since I was a kid.
