Just a quick reminder, WTOJ will re-air one more time the 2nd every AT40 show with the re-created 3rd hour Sunday night / Monday morning at midnight. If you missed it last weekend, this will be your last chance to catch it for another year.

So... The 80s will have to wait for a bit. I currently only know the "B" show for them (though the fact that there even is one means we can scratch 83 and 84 for an "A" show). Technically, I've only been told the "B" show for the 70s, as well...but thanks to a couple of recent posts in here, however, I can figure out what the "A" show for the 70s will be. First, let's reveal what that "B" show is. It's 7/23/1977: www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/07-23-77.pdfGiven that 1977 is the "B" show, 1979 must be the "A" show. And given that 7/28 aired last year, that means that next week's "A" show must be from 7/21/1979: www.charismusicgroup.com/Cue%20Sheets/07-21-79.pdfI haven't been told so yet, but assume that the 1977 extras are the same as whatever they were the last time that aired. If anything changes, I'll let you guys know.

7/23/77 was played as an A last year, with these extras:
Hour #1: "Star Wars (Main Title)" by The London Symphony Orchestra Hour #2: "Cold As Ice" by Foreigner Hour #3: "Boogie Nights" by Heatwave
This particular pairing is something of a curveball, and not a particularly necessary one at that; note the complaints in the 80s thread about Premiere's offering of two choices too close to each other, and stations that won't play a full four hour 70s countdown can and do just start with the second hour.
This is the first time a regular 1979 show has been coupled with anything from later than 1974.

I have had a lot of issues with their stream cutting out and dropping when it used to be VERY reliable. Has anyone else encountered this? That happened to me so I listen to it on the Streema.com site. Thanks for the suggestion! I have never used Streema but I was testing it out today and seems solid. I will use it tomorrow.

This station is airing the 70s show-but doesn't put it on their homepage. I stumbled across it & Casey was at #16 from this week 1978. www.923theeagle.com/KETX-92.3 The Eagle from Livingston TX Saturday 10am ET

In his introduction to Dave Mason's remake of "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow",Casey said that the original version by The Shirelles was produced by Phil Spector-That's incorrect-It was produced by Luther Dixon.

Automation struck again! In the 2nd hour of KKPR's broadcast, they were already up to '3 times a lady' at #21. They omitted the songs before that.

At the end of Bruce Springsteen's hit Prove it all night Casey said it was his debut hit. That's incorrect as Born to run hit #23 in 1975
